If you were not here last week you will need to contact me about a character before Monday.

Keep on Shadowfell Quickstart

The PDF on your disk titled Keep on Shadowfell Quickstart is just the quickstart guide and does not include the actual adventure. I would appreciate it if you would, at the very least, read this 6 page quickstart guide. It covers the basics of combat. At first glance the combat rules look somewhat complicated but I believe that once we are used to them they will be quite easy. There are several aspects of these new combat rules that will actually speed up combat.

Game On

We are playing 4th edition this Monday at 6:00 p.m. I will have characters for you to choose from but if you wan't to show up with a character ALREADY COMPLETED then thats fine too. I am not going to commit to 4th edition until I have had a chance to run a few games so if I were you I would not buy books yet. Sign up if your coming!! Please be on time!!

4th Edition

The more I read about 4th the more I like. I am going to try to get up to speed so that I can run it this Monday. This may or may not work out so check back for the gameday post. The 4th edition campaign will be set in Shadow Dale and will be good aligned. Something has begun to organize the vile creatures infesting Myth Drannor. This represents a threat far greater than that of the Zentarim. More on this campaign will follow shortly.

Utilize the PDFs for right now. I don't want to be responsible for anyone buying expensive books as I have not fully committed to switching. I would like to run a few games to get a feel for the system. After reading the players handbook I am very optimistic!
