Game On 2/4

We will continue our delve in the Bone Maw this Monday at 6:00 p.m. Be there if you dare... Please post a reply if your coming (or not).

..."in other news Yagrax's tome claimed another victim today. An unsuspecting paladin of Kiaranasalee touched the cursed book only to be blasted from existence. ....On the home front the armies of Jubilex marched on the Palace of the Damned only to be repulsed by thirteen legions of Bone Devils led by Dispator himself"... Exert from the NNN (Nessus News Network) broadcast...

Prelude to The Bone Maw (for those who were absent)

You awaken dazed, your head pounding and your breath shallow. You hear the muffled sounds of under common from somewhere out in the darkness. You struggle as you find yourself bound with a leather hood covering your head. Your hot breath mingles with the strong smell of leather. Your struggles gain you another whack on the head and you slip from consciousness again.
Your eyes burn from the torchlight that illuminates a vast chamber as you are jerked from oblivion again. Riches beyond belief are piled about what looks like an ancient thrown room or worship chamber. Eighty foot tall columns support a vaulted ceiling carved with a honeycomb of triangular openings. Curled amidst the gold and jewels is a huge black dragon. It is impossibly slender almost as if it were a great black winged snake. You are still bound at the hands and feet and you are being held on your knees by two incredibly strong bugbears. A gong is sounded somewhere to your left that rouses the serpent. As it raises its head two large flaps spread out on either side of its head as if it were some cross between a king cobra and a black dragon. A forked tong flicks at the air and in a raspy voice it says, “LiosLiath you have practiced your trade in my city for too long without giving me my due. You will join the guild of the serpent and you will give me ten percent of all of your earnings while in Ascutholl. You will do this or you will die. I will have your answer now.” “Good. You have shown remarkably good judgment and in return you will be allowed to live. However, I require a service. You will go to the Bone Maw and return with treasure totaling no less than ten thousand gold. This will be my compensation for your previous insults. You should know better than to work in a town without paying the guild. You are lucky that I am in a gracious mood today.” “You may go.”
