The Legend of the 9 realms.

Twin stars Aquilae Major and Aquilae Minor once had a total of 44 worlds in orbit! Only 9 survived the solar systems adolescense. But this is naught but rumor. Now there are only five realms, Eshtar, Oerth, The Dragon Realm, Midkemia, and Earth. Fairy tales speak of a 6th realm now know as The Sundered World. It is a land of darkness and evil. Perhaps a 7th; The burning World: This volcanic planet was once the seat of a galactic empire. Only echos of what once may have been remain. And possibly an 8th; Necropolis: Fallen Ovtarion Prime is a world of the undead. This is the realm of the Illithid and their homeworld. Ryleh lies beneath the black ocean waters. The sun of Ovtarion Prime was put out by raw psionic power of the Illithid eldar brains. Portals exist between worlds, left by long lost and forgotten empires. Commerce exists between certain worlds through the use of some of these eternal artifacts.
